Ali Larter

BIOGRAPHY
Alison Elizabeth Larter was born on February 28, 1976 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She started modeling at the young age of 13. It was while working as a model in Italy when she met Amy Smart. Later, the two girls became roommates in Los Angeles.

In November, 1996, Ali was on the cover of Esquire Magazine as Allegra Coleman, Hollywood's newest Dream Girl. The editors of the magazine wanted to illustrate the hyperbole of Hollywood hype, and approached Ali to play the fictitious actress.

The hoax landed her an agent and soon Ali started guest starring on shows like "Chicago Hope" and "Just Shoot Me". After that, she appeared twice on season two of "Dawson's Creek", as Pacey's object of affection, Kristy Livingstone.

Meanwhile, Amy Smart had already appeared in several movies. She was the one who suggested that Ali should audition for Varsity Blues. The film, which starred Hollywood's It-boy James van der Beek, became a surprise box office hit and launched the careers of people like Ali, Amy and Paul Walker. And from that moment on, Ali would be referred to as the whipped cream-bikini-girl.

She followed it up with the teen romcom Drive Me Crazy, in which she co-starred as Adrian Grenier's sexy ex. After that she joined the cast of the House on Haunted Hill, in which she starred opposite Geoffrey Rush and Famke Janssen.

But it was her role in thriller Final Destination which earned her critical praise. She won the Young Hollywood Award for Best Breakthrough Performance Female.

Next up were supporting roles in the surprise hit Legally Blonde, starring Reese Witherspoon, and in Kevin Smith's Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. She also starred in the western American Outlaws with Colin Farrell and buddy Scott Caan, before reprising her role as Clear Rivers in Final Destination 2.

After a long quiet period, Ali is making a nice comeback. With roles in upcoming movies like Marigold and Resident Evil: Extinction, and a starring role in this fall's hot new NBC series "Heroes", Ali's future is looking brighter than ever before!
